We’ve put together a list of highlights coming up this week in the House of Commons Chamber.

Monday 20 September
The House will sit from 2.30pm on Monday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace.
MPs will be considering all stages of the Social Security (Up-rating of Benefits) Bill
Tuesday 21 September
MPs will meet from 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Kwasi Kwarteng.
Main business will begin with Opposition day debates. Subjects to be announced.
Wednesday 22 September
Proceedings will begin from 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Minister for Women and Equalities.
Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 noon.
Main business will begin with the remaining stages of the Compensation (London Capital & Finance plc and Fraud Compensation Fund) Bill.
The Subsidy Control Bill will be debated at second reading.
Thursday 23 September
The House will sit from 9.30am on Thursday
MPs will ask questions to the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for the Cabinet Office, Steve Barclay.
Business Questions to the Leader of the House will follow.
Main business will start with a general debate on Baby Loss Awareness Week.
There will also be a debate on a motion on Human rights in Kashmir.
At the close of business on Thursday the House of Commons will rise for Conference recess and will next sit on Monday 18 October.
Friday 24 September
The House will be in recess and will not be sitting.
