Here is a roundup of what’s coming up next week in the House of Commons Chamber.

Monday 21 February 

The House will sit from 2.30pm on Monday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace. 

The main business will be the remaining stages of the Skills and Post-16 Education Bill [Lords].

Tuesday 22 February 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Kwasi Kwarteng. 

The main business will be the remaining stages of the Charities Bill [Lords], followed by the remaining stages of the Public Service Pensions and Judicial Offices Bill [Lords].

Wednesday 23 February 

Proceedings will begin from 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Women and Equalities Minister, Elizabeth Truss. 

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 noon.  

The main business will be an Opposition Day debate.

Thursday 24 February  

The House will sit from 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to Cabinet Office ministers. 

The main business will be two debates: 

  • UK's relationship with Russia and China 
  • UK Government recognition of the State of Palestine alongside the State of Israel 

The subjects for these debates were determined by the Backbench Business Committee.

Friday 25 February 

The House will be sitting this Friday from 9.30 am. The main business will be Private Members’ Bills. Find out what bills will be debated.
