The House of Lords debated the cost of living, and in particular the rising cost of household energy, and the role of the consumer protection regulatory regime in energy markets, on Thursday 3 February.

Lord Whitty (Labour), vice president of National Energy Action and former chair of the National Consumer Council, put forward the debate.
