Here is a roundup of what’s coming up this week in the House of Commons Chamber.

Monday 17 January
The House will sit from 2.30pm on Monday, starting with questions to the Home Secretary, Priti Patel.
The main business will be the remaining stages of the Elections Bill.
Tuesday 18 January
The House will sit at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid.
The main business will be the second reading of the Animal Welfare (Sentience) Bill [Lords]. This will be followed by a motion to approve a Money Resolution relating to the Charities Bill [Lords].

Wednesday 19 January
Proceedings will begin from 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the COP26 President, Alok Sharma.
Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 noon.
The main business will be the remaining stages of the Building Safety Bill.

Thursday 20 January
The House will sit from 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for International Trade, Anne-Marie Trevelyan.
The main business will be two general debates:
- Debate on a motion relating to the Uyghur Tribunals.
- General Debate on Lawfare and the UK Court System.
The subjects for these debates were determined by the Backbench Business Committee.
