Here is a roundup of what’s coming up in the House of Commons Chamber.

Monday 13 June 

The House will sit from 2.30pm on Monday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace. 

The main business will be the remaining stages of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Bill.

Tuesday 14 June 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid. 

The main business will be Opposition Day debates on the HM Passport Office backlog and Channel 4 privatisation.

Wednesday 15 June 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the COP26 President, Alok Sharma. 

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at noon.  

The main business will be the second reading of the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Bill.

Thursday 16 June 

Proceedings will start at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for International Trade, Anne-Marie Trevelyan. 

 The main business will be two Backbench Business debates: 

  • General debate on the fifth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire 
  • General debate on abuse of short-term letting and the sharing economy

Friday 17 June 

The House will not be sitting Friday 17 June.
