Lords debates crime and rehabilitation

On Thursday 30 June, members of the House of Lords debated the causes of crime and reoffending and the effectiveness of rehabilitation, including the contribution made by the voluntary sector.

Lord Farmer (Conservative), Chair of the Farmer Review on Importance of Strengthening Offenders' Family Ties to Prevent Reoffending and Intergenerational Crime, put forward the debate.
This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
