Questions
Members questioned the government on the Falkland Islands, College of Policing guidance on facial recognition, reducing the abuse of nurses in the NHS and more.
Bills
House of Lords began further examination of the Elections Bill at report stage and considers Commons amendments to the Nationality and Borders Bill, Health and Care Bill and Skills and Post-16 Education Bill in 'ping pong'.
Debates
Members debated government plans to support refugees from Ukraine on Wednesday, plus strengthening the Union between Great Britain and Northern Ireland and 'levelling up' plans for the South West on Thursday.

Questions
Members questioned the government for 40 minutes on:
- plans to review the 'Defence in a competitive age' command paper
- date for the misconduct hearing relating to the former Chief Constable of Cleveland Police
- implementing the recommendation The Economics of Biodiversity: The Dasgupta Review
- the acquisition of Newport Wafer Fab by Chinese-owned technology company Nexperia.
Legislation
The House of Lords considered Commons amendments to the Skills and Post-16 Education Bill and Animal Welfare (Sentience) Bill in 'ping pong'.
Motion to regret
Members raised concerns about the extension of the planning permission for the Napier Barracks in a 'motion to regret' put forward by Lord Paddick.
Debate
In Grand Committee, work away from the chamber, members debated:

steps taken to strengthen the Union between Great Britain and Northern Ireland (1 hour)
- steps being taken to establish a second negotiating track on "regional issues’’ should all parties return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (1 hour).
Wednesday 6 April
Questions
Members questioned the government for 40 minutes on:
- Palestine
- replacing the Bread and Flour Regulations following the implementation of folic acid fortification
- plans to introduce the Employment Bill
- Fraudulent losses from furlough and other COVID-19 related financial support schemes.
Legislation
Members began final 'tidy up' of the Judicial Review and Courts Bill at third reading.
The House of Lords began further examination of the Elections Bill at report stage.
Motion to regret
Members raised concerns to the alterations to the Highway Code in a 'motion to regret' put forward by Baroness McIntosh of Pickering.

Tuesday 5 April
Questions
Members questioned the government for 40 minutes on:
- reducing the abuse of nurses in the NHS
- increasing energy storage capacity in the UK
- public procurement approach to levelling up
- expanding the range of lethal weapons exported to Ukraine.
Members also questioned the government following a statement on the parole system and public protection.
Legislation
Members considered Commons amendments to the Professional Qualifications Bill and Health and Care Bill in 'ping pong'.
Monday 4 April

Members questioned the government for 40 minutes on:
- the future of the Falkland Islands
- the humanitarian situation in Ethiopia
- changing water companies' duties and accountability
- College of Policing guidance on live facial recognition.
Members also questioned the government on war crime allegations in Ukraine following an urgent question from the Lord Bishop of St Albans.
Legislation
Members began the final 'tidy up' of the Building Safety Bill at third reading.
The House of Lords considered Commons amendments to the Nationality and Borders Bill in 'ping pong'.
