Here is a roundup of what’s coming up in the House of Commons Chamber.

Monday 16 May

The House will sit from 2.30pm on Monday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Michael Gove.

The main business will be the Queen’s Speech (Motion for an address). Proposed subject for debate: Making Britain the best place to grow up and grow old.

 

Tuesday 17 May

The House will sit at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak.

The main business will be the Queen’s Speech (Motion for an address). Proposed subject for debate: Tackling short-term and long-term cost of living increases.

 

Wednesday 18 May

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Scotland, Mr Alister Jack.

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at noon.

The main business will be the Queen’s Speech (Motion for an address). Proposed subject for debate: Achieving economic growth.

 

Thursday 19 May

Proceedings will start at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Shapps.

The main business will be a general debate on transport, followed by a general debate on NATO and International Security.

 

Friday 20 May

The House will not be sitting Friday 20 May.
