Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Please note, this business was announced in the Commons Chamber by the Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP, on Wednesday 9 November. It is possible that changes will be made to the schedule of business throughout the week. This page will be updated should changes be made.

Monday 14 November 

The House will sit at 2.30pm, starting with questions to the Home Secretary, Suella Braverman. The main business will be a general debate on the Australia and New Zealand trade deals, followed by a general debate on Ukraine.

Tuesday 15 November 

Proceedings will start at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt. 

The main business will be an Opposition Day debate on a motion in the name of the Official Opposition. Subject to be announced.

Wednesday 16 November 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Scotland, Alister Jack. 

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be the remaining stages of the National Security Bill.

Thursday 17 November  

The House will sit at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Dr Thérèse Coffey.  

The main business will be the Autumn Statement 2022, followed by a Backbench business debate on International Men’s Day.

Friday 18 November 

The House will sit from 9.30am on Friday and the main business will be Private Members’ Bills.
