Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Please note, this business was announced in the Commons Chamber by the Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP, on Thursday 17 November. It is possible that changes will be made to the schedule of business throughout the week. This page will be updated should changes be made.

Monday 21 November 

The House will sit at 2.30pm, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Michael Gove. The main business will be a debate on the Autumn Statement and Consideration of Resolutions (day 1).

Tuesday 22 November 

Proceedings will start at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Justice, Dominic Raab. 

The main business will be the continuation of the debate on the Autumn Statement.

Wednesday 23 November 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Wales, David T C Davies. 

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be the remaining stages (day 1) of the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill.

Thursday 24 November  

The House will sit at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Transport, Mr Mark Harper. 

The main business will be two Backbench business debates: 

  • General debate on the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities 
  • General debate on the independent review of Children’s social care
