Questions
Members pressed the government on greenhouse gas emissions by developed countries, the impact of HS2 in Wales, improving trading relations with major economies, tackling NHS building maintenance backlogs and representations to Iran regarding the treatment of women protesters.

Questions
Members pressed the government for 40 minutes on:
- government policies around families
- greenhouse gas emissions by developed countries
- education technology market
- improving trading relations with the world’s three largest economies.
Private notice question
In an urgent question from Baroness Kidron, granted by the Lord Speaker, members quizzed the government on its plans to bring forward the Online Safety Bill.
Legislation
Members will ‘tidy up’ the Seafarers’ Wages Bill at third reading and continue line by line examination of the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill at committee stage.
Tuesday 8 November
Questions
Members questioned the government for 40 minutes on:
- impact of HS2 in Wales
- meeting with the devolved administrations
- ensuring carers are consulted in hospital decisions to discharge patients
- coronary heart disease.
Regulations
Members considered regulations relating to the following topics:
- armed forces (serious crime)
- armed forces (court martial)
- Nationality and Borders Act 2022
- Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022
- Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984
- merchant shipping
- international road haulage (motion to approve)
- international road haulage (motion to regret).

Wednesday 9 November
Questions
Members questioned the government for 40 minutes on:
- the treatment of women protesters in Iran
- backlog of maintenance of NHS buildings
- formal bereavement support
- ambulance response times: impact on serious conditions.

Members pressed the government in an urgent question on British Citizen Alaa Abd el-Fattah, who is currently on hunger strike in Egyptian detention.
