Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Monday 24 April

The House will sit at 2.30pm, starting with questions to Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride. The main business will be the second reading of the Non-Domestic Rating Bill.

Tuesday 25 April

Proceedings will start at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Steve Barclay. 

The main business will be an Opposition Day debate (subject to be confirmed).

Wednesday 26 April

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Minister for Women and Equalities, Kemi Badenoch.

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be the remaining stages of the Illegal Migration Bill.

Thursday 27 April

The House will sit at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Lucy Frazer.

The main business will be Backbench business general debates on:

  • Reducing plastic pollution in the oceans
