Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week.  

This business was announced in the Commons Chamber by the Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP, on Thursday 7 December. It is possible that changes will be made to the schedule of business throughout the week. Any changes will be reflected in What's On in Parliament.

Monday 11 December  

The House will sit from 2.30pm, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Education, Gillian Keegan. 

The main business will be the second reading of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill.

Tuesday 12 December 

The House will sit from 11.30am, starting with questions to Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office ministers.  

The main business will be the second reading of the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill.

Wednesday 13 December  

The House will sit from 11.30am, starting with questions to the Minister for Women and Equalities, Kemi Badenoch. 

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be the second reading of the Finance Bill.

Thursday 14 December 

The House will sit from 9.30am on Thursday starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper. 

The Leader of the House will then give the Business Statement.  

The main business will be a general debate on Knife Crime, followed by a debate on the potential merger of Three and Vodafone. (The subjects of these debates were determined by the Backbench Business Committee).
