Fire safety regulations in England under scrutiny in Lords debate

On Thursday 14 December, members of the House of Lords debated the current state of fire safety regulations in England and the case for a new integrated review to update fire safety guidance.

Lord Goddard of Stockport (Liberal Democrat), former gas engineer and member of the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Authority, put forward the debate.

This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
