Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Monday 10 July 

The House will sit at 2.30pm, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Michael Gove. 

The main business will be:

Tuesday 11 July 

Proceedings will start at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Steve Barclay. 

The main business will be a consideration of Lords Amendments to the Illegal Migration Bill.

Wednesday 12 July 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the  
Minister for Women and Equalities, Kemi Badenoch 

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be an Opposition Day debate (subject to be announced).

Thursday 13 July 

The House will sit at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper. 

The main business will be two Backbench Business debates on:  

  • The Second Report of the Foreign Affairs Committee, The cost of complacency: illicit finance and the war in Ukraine 
  • The Third Report of the Health and Social Care Committee, Workforce: recruitment, training and retention in health and social care
