Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Please note, this business was announced in the Commons Chamber by the Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP, on Thursday 8 June. Monday 12 June 

The House will sit at 2.30pm, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Education, Gillian Keegan. 

The main business will be:  

  • Consideration of Lords Message of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill. 
  • Motion to approve the Draft Public Order Act 1986 (Serious Disruption to the Life of the Community) Regulations 2023. 
  • General debate on risk-based exclusion of Members of Parliament.

Tuesday 13 June 

Proceedings will start at 11.30am on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly. 

The main business will be the remaining stages of the Procurement Bill [HL].

Wednesday 14 June 

The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, Chloe Smith.

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be an Opposition Day debate (subject to be announced), followed by a debate on defence policy.

Thursday 15 June 

The House will sit at 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State Culture, Media and Sport, Lucy Frazer. 

The main business will be two Backbench Business debates on:
