Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Please note, this business was announced in the Commons Chamber by the Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP, on Thursday 27 April. It is possible that changes will be made to the schedule of business throughout the week. This page will be updated should changes be made.

Monday 1 May
The House will not be sitting Monday 1 May.
Tuesday 2 May
Proceedings will start at 2.30pm on Tuesday, starting with questions to the Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly.
The main business will be the consideration of Lords message of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Bill. This will be followed by a Backbench business debate on the support for Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh.

Wednesday 3 May
The House will sit at 11.30am on Wednesday, starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, Michelle Donelan.
Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at 12 midday. The main business will be the consideration of Lords Amendments to the National Security Bill, followed by the remaining stages of the Lifelong Learning (Higher Education Fee Limits) Bill.
