Here is an overview of debates scheduled in the Commons Chamber over the coming week. Please note, this business was announced in the Commons Chamber by the Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP, on Thursday 27 April. Monday 8 May 

The House will not be sitting 

Tuesday 9 May 

The House sits from 2.30pm on Tuesday, starting with questions to Treasury ministers. The main business will be the second reading of the Energy Bill [Lords].

Wednesday 10 May 

The House sits from 11.30am on Wednesday starting with questions to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Chris Heaton-Harris.  

Prime Minister’s Questions will take place at midday. The main business will be all stages of the Northern Ireland (Interim Arrangements) Bill.

Thursday 11 May 

The House sits from 9.30am on Thursday, starting with questions to the Minister for the Cabinet Office.  

The main business will be two Backbench business debates:
