Members of the House of Lords discussed support for the prison and probabtion service, grey squirrels and woodland protection, the British Overseas Territories and the use of assistive technology for SEN students, in four short debates on Thursday 25 May.
Lords Thursday debates
One Thursday each month, the House of Lords holds four short debates in Grand Committee. On Thursday 25 May, members debated the following subjects:
Prisons and probabtion
At 1pm, members quizzed the government on resources for HM Prison and Probation Service to secure delivery of the Imprisonment for Public Protection Action Plan, published on 26 April, in a debate proposed by Lord Moylon (Conservative).
