Two new Members of Parliament were elected to the House of Commons at by-elections held on Thursday 19 October 2023.
Mid Bedfordshire by-election
Alistair Luke Strathern of the Labour Party was elected as the new Member of Parliament for Mid Bedfordshire in the by-election held in that constituency on Thursday 19 October.
The by-election was called following the resignation of Rt Hon Nadine Dorries on 29 August 2023.
Tamworth by-election
Sarah Siena Edwards of the Labour Party was elected the new Member of Parliament for Tamworth in the by-election held in that constituency on Thursday 19 October.
The by-election was called following the resignation of Christopher Pincher, 7 September 2023.
