Questions
This week members question the government on schools with catering facilities affected by RAAC, converting empty homes into residential accommodation, artificial intelligence, the impact on public health of ultra-processed food and protection for asylum seekers.
Legislation
Members will consider Commons changes to the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill, Procurement Bill and the Energy Bill.
Debates
Look out for debates on the impact of ultra-processed foods on children’s health and the current situation in Israel and Gaza.
Committees
The Built Environment Committee looks at modern methods of construction and the European Affairs Committee continues its inquiry into the implications of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine for UK-EU relations.

- converting empty homes into residential accommodation
- UK military capability in the Indo-Pacific region.
Legislation
Members will consider House of Commons changes to the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill.
Tuesday
From 2.30pm
Questions
The House will question the government on:
- unresolved allegations against Sir Edward Heath
- monitoring of artificial intelligence
- migraines and the impact on the workforce
- fouth question to be determined.
Legislation
The House will consider Commons changes to the Energy Bill.
Debates
Members will debate the current situation in Israel and Gaza.
Regulations
In Grand Committee, work away from the chamber, members debate regulations on:
- fluorinated greenhouse gases
- counter-terrorism and security
- alcohol licensing
- dormant assets
- postal vote handling and secrecy.
Wednesday
From 3pm
Questions
Members press the government on:
- the role of the European Court of Human Rights
- restitution for Polish Jewish victims of the Holocaust
- protections for asylum seekers
- fourth question to be determined.
Debates
Members will debate the impact of ultra-processed foods on children’s health.
Legislation
Members will consider Commons changes to the Procurement Bill and may continue to consider changes to the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill.
Thursday
From 11am
Questions
Lords quiz the government on:
- DLUHC funds for new capital projects
- high-risk groups in suicide prevention strategy
- impact on UK public health of ultra processed food
- fourth question to be determined.
Legislation
Members may continue to consider Commons changes to the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill and the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill.
