House of Lords chamber

Questions

This week members return to the chamber to quiz the government on the Zimbabwe election, teacher shortages, backlog of asylum applications and improving the system for dementia diagnosis.

Legislation

Members will continue to examine the Levelling-Up and Regeneration Bill, consider Commons changes to the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill and complete final checks of the Online Safety Bill.

Debates

Look out for debates on the UK's defence policy and the role of nuclear energy in securing future energy supplies.

Committees

The Environment and Climate Change Committee hosts its first evidence session for its inquiry into electric vehicles and the AI in Weapon Systems Committee hears from minister James Cartlidge MP.
