Questions
This week members question the government on delays in tax incentive schemes for start-ups, replacing excise duty on fuel, sewage pollution in British lakes and rivers, supporting the study of the arts and humanities, and support for nuclear test veterans.
Bills
Members check and change the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill and Litigation Funding Agreements (Enforceability) Bill, and make further changes to the Victims and Prisoners Bill.
Debates
Causes of child poverty across the UK and checks of imports and exports of agricultural products to and from the EU are both on the agenda in Lords debates.
Committees
- The Food, Diet and Obesity Committee hears from Julian Metcalfe, founder of Pret a Manger and CEO of Itsu, as part of its inquiry into food health.
- The International Relations and Defence Committee speaks to the Foreign Secretary, Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton.
- The Constitution Committee hosts Lord Reed of Allermuir and Lord Hodge, president and deputy president of the Supreme Court, as part of its inquiry into governance of the union.

Tuesday

- sewage pollution in lakes and rivers
- the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures framework
- publishing the chemicals strategy
- universities: sensitive research.
Legislation
The House of Lords continued further examination of the Victims and Prisoners Bill at report stage.
Wednesday

- House of Lords reform
- OFWAT licence conditions
- arts and humanities in higher education
- Ukraine: small boats.
Members also quizzed the goverment in statements on the Middle East, Port Talbot steelworks, health and disability reform, Telegraph Media Group sale and migration.

Members continued check and change of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill.
Motion to regret
Members debated the Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules in a 'motion to regret', put forward by Lord Oates.
