George Galloway of the Workers Party of Britain was elected to the House of Commons at a by-election held on Thursday 29 February 2024.  

Rochdale by-election 

George Galloway of the Workers Party of Britain was elected as the new Member of Parliament for Rochdale in the by-election held in that constituency on Thursday 29 February.  

A by-election was called following the death of Sir Tony Lloyd MP on 17 January 2024.
