Questions
This week, members question the government on asylum claims, improvements to rail services, food security, cost of ammunition supplied to Ukraine and the protection of regional arts organisations.
Bills
Line by line examination of the Victims and Prisoners Bill and Data Protection and Digital Information Bill continues on Monday. Later in the week, the Lords ‘tidies up' the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill, and debates the key principles of the Offshore Petroleum Licensing Bill and the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill.
Committees
- The Food, Diet and Obesity Committee hears from experts from the University of North Carolina, University of Sao Paulo and University of Oxford as part of its inquiry into diet health.
- The Modern Slavery Act 2015 Committee continues its inquiry into the impact and effectiveness of the 2015 Modern Slavery Act.
- The Communications and Digital Committee continues its inquiry into the future of news by speaking to Jonathan Levy, managing editor and executive director of Sky News, and Angelos Frangopoulos, CEO of GB News Limited.

- asylum claims
- Cabinet Manual
- redress for those harmed by sodium valproate and pelvic mesh
- improvements to rail services.
Legislation
Members continue line by line examination of the Victims and Prisoners Bill at committee stage.
From 3.45pm
In Grand Committee, work away from the chamber, members examine the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill.
Debates
Support for persecuted Christians around the world is on the agenda in Lords debates.
Orders and Regulations
Members will consider a motion to regret the Code of Practice on Dismissal and Re-Engagement regulations put forward by Lord Woodley.
Tuesday

Members question the government on:
- credit card invoices
- improving food security
- cost of ammunition supplied to Ukraine
- fourth question to be determined.
Legislation
The House of Lords ‘tidies up' the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill at third reading and debates the key principles and main purpose of the Offshore Petroleum Licensing Bill.
Orders and Regulations
From 3.45pm
In Grand Committee, work away from the chamber, members will debate regulations on:
- pension schemes
- renewable transport fuel obligations
- Financial Services and Markets Act 2000
- accounting standards (USA and Japan).
Wednesday
From 11am
Questions
The Lords presses the government on:
- people affected by strokes
- surplus emissions
- protecting regional arts organisations
- fourth question to be determined.
Legislation
Members will discuss the key principles and main purpose of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill.
