Lords debates Product Regulation and Metrology Bill

Members of the House of Lords discussed the primary objectives of the Product Regulation and Metrology Bill at second reading on Tuesday 8 October.
The Product Regulation and Metrology Bill will update existing measures relating to the marketing, quantities and measurements of products sold in the UK in order to better protect consumers, deliver economic growth and ensure fair business practice among online and high street retailers.

During second reading, members discuss the main topics in the bill and draw attention to concerns or specific areas where they believe amendments (changes) are be needed.
