On Thursday 30 January, members of the House of Lords will debate the tax implications of corporations shifting profits to low and no-tax jurisdictions.

Debate

Lord Sikka (Labour), director and trustee of the Association for Accountancy and Business Affairs, will put forward the debate.

Members speaking

Contributing members are expected to include:

  • Baroness Kramer (Liberal Democrats), former vice-president of Citibank/Citicorp USA
  • Baroness Neville-Rolfe (Conservative), Lords shadow minister for the Treasury and former non-executive director of Capita Plc.

Lord Livermore (Labour), Financial Secretary to the Treasury, will respond on behalf of the government.
