Corporate profit shifting to be discussed in the Lords

On Thursday 30 January, members of the House of Lords will debate the tax implications of corporations shifting profits to low and no-tax jurisdictions.
Debate
Lord Sikka (Labour), director and trustee of the Association for Accountancy and Business Affairs, will put forward the debate.
Members speaking
Contributing members are expected to include:
- Baroness Kramer (Liberal Democrats), former vice-president of Citibank/Citicorp USA
- Baroness Neville-Rolfe (Conservative), Lords shadow minister for the Treasury and former non-executive director of Capita Plc.
Lord Livermore (Labour), Financial Secretary to the Treasury, will respond on behalf of the government.
