Lord Turner will give evidence on the European Commission’s proposals to avoid a repeat of the recent financial crisis - these include changes to banks' deposit guarantee schemes and suggestions for a new global supervisory framework. The Committee will also ask Lord Turner for the FSA’s position on the impact of credit rating agency failures in the financial crisis and how he expects the crisis to impact on executive pay packages

The evidence session with House of Lords EU Sub-Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs will take place at 10.35am on Tuesday 25 November in Committee Room 2A of the House of Lords.
