Conduct of Members of the Lords

In response to an urgent question on 26 January, the Leader of the House of Lords announced the Sub-Committee on Lords' Interests - which considers matters related to the Register of Interests - is undertaking an investigation into allegations against Members of the Lords.

The Members named are being asked to explain their position and The Sunday Times has been asked to provide copies of their tape recordings.
The Sub-Committee will report as soon as practicable. No further statements will be issued while the investigation/enquiry takes place.
