The Children, Schools and Families Committee questions Secretary of State Ed Balls about the work of his department, from 9.30am.

The session is expected to cover a wide range of topical issues, including the impact of the economic downturn on his department's spending, Lord Sutherland's report on the late delivery of National Curriculum test results in 2008, and children's services.
