Gaza evidence session

The Foreign Affairs Committee conducted an inquiry and published a report on 'Global Security: The Middle East' in 2007. In the light of recent developments in the region, the Committee has decided to take follow-up evidence on this subject. Watch from 2.30pm.

The evidence session is likely to cover political, security, humanitarian and legal aspects of the recent conflict in Gaza; the prospects for Israeli-Palestinian relations and the Middle East peace process in the light of the conflict, the Israeli general election on 10 February and the change of administration in the US.
