Banking in Scotland inquiry continues

The Scottish Affairs Committee hears evidence from the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Lloyds Banking Group, from 9.15 am

The Scottish Affairs Committee is looking at the issue of banking in Scotland. The Committee will be looking at the practical and competition implications of the merger between Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS, the operation of banks in Scotland following recent developments in the UK banking sector, and the provision of banking services to the public in the current economic climate.
