Borders Bill: committee stage

Members of the House of Lords discussed the second day of committee stage of the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill on 2 March. Amendments discussed included clauses 37-41 of the Bill.

Line by line examination of the Bill takes place during committee stage – every suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.

The Bill seeks to amend the law on immigration, asylum and nationality.
