Borders Bill: report stage

A Government Bill that amends the law on immigration, citizenship and nationality continued its passage through the Lords on 25 March.
Members of the Lords suggested changes to the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill and these were discussed during report stage. Amendments suggested covered clauses 1-41 of the Bill.

Further line by line examination of the Bill takes place during report stage and allows Members to revisit issues discussed previously. All suggested changes to the Bill can be discussed and votes can take place.
