EU rail inquiry hears from German Federal Agency

Representatives from the Bundesnetzagentur, the German Federal Network Agency for electricity, gas, telecommunications, postal and railway markets, appear before the House of Lords EU Internal Market Sub-Committee at 4.05pm.

The Committee hears from Dr Iris Henseler-Unger, Vice-President; Professor Dr Karsten Otte, Director and Head of Rail Regulation; and Horst-Peter Heinrichs, Head of Legal and Economic Policy Issues, Bundesnetzagentur, as part of its inquiry into the European Commission's commitment to proposing a recast of the First Railway Package, which dealt with rail freight.
