Members of the Lords, with wide-ranging expertise in international affairs, foreign policy and more, debated the strengthening of governance and the rule of law in Africa on 5 March.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to an 2 hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern. A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
