Health Bill: committee stage

Members of the House of Lords discussed possible changes to the Health Bill to conclude the committee stage on 17 March. Amendments discussed covered clause 32 of the Bill

The Bill moves to report stage - further line by line examination. Every suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.

A date for the report stage is yet to be scheduled.

The Health Bill aims to improve the quality of NHS care and services and to improve public health.
