Members of the House of Lords discussed possible changes to the Health Bill on the sixth day of committee stage on 11 March. Amendments discussed covered clause 23-29 of the Bill

Line by line examination of the Bill takes place during committee stage – every suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.

The Health Bill aims to improve the quality of NHS care and services and to improve public health.
