House of Lords Science and Technology Committee holds the first evidence session of its inquiry into nanotechnologies and food, at 10.40 am

Giving evidence to the Committee will be Dr Stephen Axford, Head of Science and Society at the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills; John Roberts, Head of Chemicals and Nanotechnologies at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; and Dr Andrew Wadge, Chief Scientist at the Food Standards Agency.
