Baroness Gould of Potternewton introduced a debate on the role of women in the global economic crisis on 12 March

Members of the House of Lords, with wide ranging expertise and experience in economics, the charity sector, equal opportunities and more, contributed to the discussion.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to two hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern. A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
