The House of Lords Communications Committee inquiry into UK originated content in film and television continues at 10.30am, when the Committee hears evidence from the Producers’ Alliance for Cinema and Television (Pact) and the New Producers’ Alliance (NPA).

Giving evidence at 10.30am from Pact will be John McVay, Chief Executive; Charles Wace, Chair; and Andrea Calderwood, Vice-Chair for Film, followed at 11.30am by David Pope, Chief Executive Officer, NPA.

The Committee's inquiry examines the contribution of the UK film and television industries to the British economy and how this might be increased. It also examines the cultural contribution of the industry and how current arrangements support UK investment and jobs.
