Local Democracy Bill: report stage

Members of the Lords discussed further possible changes to the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill to conclude the report stage on 22 April.
Amendments discussed covered clauses 85 to 144 of the Bill, which deal with the creation of economic prosperity boards and construction contracts.

The Bill will now be considered at third reading - a final chance to amend the Bill. All suggested changes can be discussed and votes can take place. A date for third reading is scheduled for 29 April.
