A topical debate on the infection and deaths of patients by contaminated blood took place in the House of Lords on 23 April.

Lord Morris of Manchester introduced the discussion, with contributions from Members with expertise and personal experience in law, the public inquiry into contaminated blood products and more.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to two hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern. A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
