Line by line examination of the Marine and Coastal Access Bill concluded on the 11th day of committee stage in the House of Lords on 21 April. Changes were suggested to clauses 287-313 of the Bill, which covered the Bill's provisions for the coastal access scheme.

Examination of the Bill takes place during committee stage – every line must be agreed to and any suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.
The Bill will be examined further during report stage on 5 May, where further changes can be made.
