Members of the Lords completed examination of the Health Bill on 12 May with third reading
Discussion of suggested changes (amendments) to the Bill took place. The Health Bill now passes to the House of Commons.

Third reading is a final chance to amend a Bill. Every suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.
The Health Bill aims to improve the quality of NHS care and services and to improve public health.
