The Innovation, Universities, Science and Skills Committee holds its second Science Question Time evidence session with the Minister of State for Science and Innovation, Lord Drayson, Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills. Watch from 5.15 pm

Questions the Committee will put to Lord Drayson will include:

  • What have you achieved since becoming Minister for Science and Innovation?
  • Are the Budget's Research Council 'value for money' savings just another way for Government to control the prioritisation of research?
  • How would you characterise the relationship between Government and the science community and what measures have you taken to improve it?
  • What will be the impact of the Strategic Investment Fund?

The Science Question Time with Lord Drayson will follow the Committee's final evidence session of the Committee’s inquiry ‘Putting Science and Engineering at the Heart of Government Policy’, with Lord Drayson and Government Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor John Beddington. This evidence session will begin at 4.15pm.
