Members of the Lords continued the line by line examination of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill on 24 June.

Amendments (proposals for change) discussed included clauses (parts) 11-38 of the Bill which covered apprenticeship frameworks, standards and more.

During committee stage every suggested change to the Bill can be discussed and every clause has to be agreed to. Any Member can take part and votes can happen.

A third day of committee stage is scheduled for 29 June.

The Government Bill would change the law on a range of issues - from apprenticeships to enhancing training opportunities.
