Line by line examination of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill continued on 29 June in the House of Lords
Amendments (proposals for change) discussed included clause (part) 39 of the Bill which covered support for employee study and training.

During committee stage every suggested change to the Bill can be discussed and every clause has to be agreed to. Any Member can take part and votes can happen.
A fourth day of committee stage is scheduled for 2 July.
The Government Bill would change the law on a range of issues - from apprenticeships to enhancing training opportunities.
