British film and TV industry inquiry continues

The House of Lords Communications Committee inquiry into UK originated content in film and television continues at 10.30 am, when the Committee hears evidence from witnesses including Lord Puttnam

Appearing before the Committee will be Lord Puttnam and Michael Kuhn, Director, Qwerty Films, at 10.30 am, followed at 11.30 am by Martin Smith, Special Adviser, Ingenious Media; James Clayton, Chief Executive, Ingenious Investments; and Andrew Noakes, Associate Producer, Eon Productions.

The Committee's inquiry examines the contribution of the UK film and television industries to the British economy and how this might be increased. It also looks at the cultural contribution of the industry and how current arrangements support UK investment and jobs.
