Members of the Lords discussed the second day of committee stage on the Coroners and Justice Bill on 10 June
Amendments (proposals for change) examined included clauses (parts) 7-14 of the Bill.

During committee stage every suggested change to the Bill can be discussed and every clause of the Bill has to be agreed to. Any Member of the Lords can take part and votes can happen.
A third day of committee stage deliberation takes place on 23 June.
The Government Bill would change the law on a range of issues - from the use of juries in inquests to inciting hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.
